Gulf Porsche 917

Arguably the most recognizable race car of all time the Gulf Porsche. I can't look at this model of the 917 and not think of Steve McQueen.
This is a color pencil drawing on a heavy grade of Bristol Vellum. The drawing is on a 14x17 inch piece of paper.
I have been drawing this car in one form or another since it I was 15 (1970). I never tire of its lines and reflections. This is the third 917 I have in my modern drawings on deviantart.
